About the Show
John Gerard has spent more than forty years becoming one of New England's essential singer-songwriters. Born in Paris, raised in Massachusetts, his work focuses on the hopeful, unguarded, deeply human moments of life and delivers them with soul-baring lyricism and guitar work. "I share my stories through my music; wishing that others who resonate with these topics may find connection and hope." His work has drawn notice from The Boston Globe and Metronome Magazine, and he's opened at Club Passim for Grammy-nominated songwriter Lori McKenna.
Shannon Roy brings the grit. A U.S. Army veteran who served in Iraq and Afghanistan, she blends rock, blues, and folk into something one writer called "Stevie Nicks' tough cousin." Her debut album, A Woman's Soul, is full of introspective songs drawn hard from her own life, and she's built a loyal following across the Capital Region and Vermont on the strength of her live shows.

Dana Robinson + Emerald Rae
Dana Robinson has spent the better part of four decades writing songs shaped by the American landscape — from the open highways he hitchhiked across the West as a young man to the Vermont hills he's called home since the late '80s. His songwriting blends old-time fiddle and country blues with a folk sensibility all his own, and it's carried him from Carnegie Hall to Ken Burns documentaries to thousands of shows across the U.S. and UK. This year he releases his 14th studio album, The Sound of the Word — six years in the making, and his most ambitious blend yet of contemporary songwriting and Southern old-time music.
