About the Show
The Holiday Concert is coming back to Memorial Hall — and it's bringing two more parties with it.
December 10 is a three-part evening. At 5:00 PM we open with a holiday variety show in the spirit of those old Sinatra and Bing Crosby specials — built for our seniors, especially the folks who don't get out to the Hall as often as they'd like. It's free to attend, and we're working with Moover and the Deerfield Valley Rotary to make sure getting here isn't the thing that keeps anyone home.
At 6:00 PM we all head out the front doors for a tree lighting and a menorah lighting, a hot cocoa bar, marshmallows over a fire, and as much caroling as the crowd has got in it. Word is Santa may make an appearance. Also free, and built for every age in the family.
Then at 7:00 PM we plug in. The rock show is the piece of this night the town has loved for years, and we're bringing in bands from all around the area to do it right. The majority of proceeds go straight to the food pantry — which means the best possible version of this evening is a packed room.

The Wilmington Contra Dance
Join us for the first-ever Wilmington Contra Dance! Contra dancing is a traditional New England folk dance, a lively cousin of the square dance done in long lines with your neighbors, and it's woven deep into Vermont's heritage. No experience or partner needed. Our caller teaches the moves as we go, right on the floor of historic Memorial Hall.
