About the Show
The Holiday Concert is coming back to Memorial Hall.
This is a celebration of music and community first and foremost — a chance to gather in a warm, historic room and enjoy a lineup of performers from in and around The Valley. The details of the program are still coming together, but the heart of the night is clear: a shared evening of live music at Memorial Hall, with the kind of welcoming, small-town energy that makes the holidays feel like the holidays.
We're also building a simple giving element into the event, because this season is about showing up for each other. Rather than focusing on fundraising, we'll be collecting donations that directly support local organizations serving community members in need. We're still finalizing the specifics, but it may include items like food pantry donations or other practical goods that make an immediate difference.
If you've missed having this tradition on the calendar, you're not alone — and if you've never been, this is the year to start. Come for the music, stay for the feeling of being in the same room with your neighbors, all hearing the same songs, and remembering what community can feel like.

Shannon Roy + John Gerard
John Gerard has spent more than forty years becoming one of New England's essential singer-songwriters. Born in Paris, raised in Massachusetts, his work focuses on the hopeful, unguarded, deeply human moments of life and delivers them with soul-baring lyricism and guitar work. "I share my stories through my music; wishing that others who resonate with these topics may find connection and hope." His work has drawn notice from The Boston Globe and Metronome Magazine, and he's opened at Club Passim for Grammy-nominated songwriter Lori McKenna.

Dana Robinson + Emerald Rae
Dana Robinson has spent the better part of four decades writing songs shaped by the American landscape — from the open highways he hitchhiked across the West as a young man to the Vermont hills he's called home since the late '80s. His songwriting blends old-time fiddle and country blues with a folk sensibility all his own, and it's carried him from Carnegie Hall to Ken Burns documentaries to thousands of shows across the U.S. and UK. This year he releases his 14th studio album, The Sound of the Word — six years in the making, and his most ambitious blend yet of contemporary songwriting and Southern old-time music.
